Imam Malik,Imam ShafiIf he is able to catch a raka of jumua then he has observed the jumua prayer, and he is to perform the second raka after the salutation of the imam, but if he catches less than a raka he is to pray the four rakas as zuhrFor them, there is an implied word in the words of the Prophet (God’s peace and blessings be upon him), "he has caught the prayer " (He who has caught a raka of a prayer (behind the imam) has caught the prayer), that is, he has caught the hukm of the prayer, said that the (indirect) indication of the text (dalil al- khitab) implies that one who has caught less than one rak’a has not caught the hukm of the prayer
Imam Abu HanifaHe is to complete two rakass irrespective of what he has been able to catch of the prayer with the imamUsing the general implication of the words of the Prophet (Gods peace and blessings be upon him), "Pray what you are able to catch (behind the imam), and complete what you have missed " they made it obligatory that the follower pray two rakas even if he has been able to catch (a little) less than two rakas.
