Imam Abu HanifaImam is to position himself in front of the waist of the dead person, whether the dead person is male or femaleIn the Narration of Samura his standing at one of these places indicates that it is law, and it indicates fixation. They used this narration because of the agreement over its authenticity, and said that a woman and a man are the same for this purpose, as the principle is that their hukm is the same, unless a legal distinction is established.
Others:
other juristImam is to stand facing the waist in the case of a female, and by the head in the case of the maleThey declared the tradition of Abu Ghalib to be authentic and said that there is in it an addition over the tradition of Samura ibn Jundub reliance upon which is obligatory, and that there is essentially no conflict between them
some juristImam is to stand wherever he likes with respect to the dead personNarrations of Samura and Abu Ghalib. Prophets standing at one of these positions or at other different positions indicates permissibility and the absence of fixation
